They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11

Dear  brothers and sisters in Christ,
God has planted this  desire in my heart to reach other women that may  be lost or feel forgotten by both society and/or God. I recently left my full time job of 15 years to grow in this calling that God has placed on my heart to share with others through the word of my testimony.

Right now, I am not sure exactly what He has in store for me. But, I do know that He is taking my pain and working it into something beautiful. He is anointing, pouring out His holy oil upon this messy girl, and teaching her. And I love it, I just want to roll around in His healing and become so soaked in His presence that it can’t help but permeate every area of my life – and for that matter – spread on over to others.
He has brought me through so much and to be able to share that with other women that may be comforted to know through hearing my testimony, that HE is faithful, and HE does hear their prayers, and they are not forgotten!  He has brought me through pain from childhood, abandonment, abuse, divorce, single motherhood, caring for a child with birth defects, and so much more!

I want these women to know that no matter how far they feel they have fallen,  what they think they have done, no matter how alone they feel,  that Jesus is right there waiting for them, and can wash them as white as snow. He can even take that hurting little girl, wrap His arms around her and give her the love she never thought she could have. He can. He is love. He is the love we have all been looking for. And He’s right here. The most beautiful part is that He is right here, right now.

This summer, I feel lead to take the next step on my journey, to travel to She Speaks in North Carolina. I feel God calling my heart here to learn. To learn more about how to write in a way that glorifies HIM , how to speak BOLDLY of the grace, mercy, love and forgiveness that he has given me and show them it is available to them through the precious blood of Jesus!  This a great opportunity to learn from women that are experienced in the mission field of women's ministry.

My heart's desire is to be able to shine the light of Jesus in the darkest of places.  Places the enemy uses to keep people bound.  Places that the enemy used to make me feel defeated & hopeless but through a personal relationship with Jesus and the word of God, I am free of that bondage!  When HE frees you from those things it is impossible to not want to make it your life mission to share that with others!

I would be honored and humbled if you would consider praying for me as I begin the next steps. And if you feel lead, I would so very much appreciate financial support as well. The expenses to attend the conference (hotel, conference, and meals) is  $775  and must be paid in full by June 1st. Donations are tax deductible and can be made directly to Proverbs 31 Ministries.

You can also assist with airfare costs which I have estimated at$300. This donation is not tax deductible – but I sure would appreciate it!
Again, I do not take this lightly, and I say it from the bottom of my heart – your support  would mean so much. I love each and every one of you.
Blessings,
Melissa Sherlin
